A policeman and two others were killed, while another was wounded in separate gun violence Friday night.

PO1 Abdelhan Inggilan y Timpahan, 47, married, an ARMM policeman assigned in Siasi, Sulu figured in a gun duel with his neighbor identified as Haimer Alih y Adam, 35, married both of Candido St., Tetuan.

Tetuan Police Station commander Supt. Nonito Asdai disclosed that Inggilan and Alih had a previous dispute as neighbors. Their houses were located just a few meters apart.

Last Friday night around 6:15 p.m. they engaged again in a heated argument due to children quarrel. Both of them armed themselves with handguns and engaged in a gun duel.

Inggilan sustained multiple bullet wounds in the head and body while Alih was shot in the stomach. Both were rushed to the hospital where they were declared dead on arrival.

Around 9:10 p.m., Johny Santos y Dela Cruz, 28, of Purok 1 B Recodo, was shot and wounded by Jimhar Aripin of Purok 5. Santos sustained a bullet wound in the body and was taken to the private hospital.

Police said the incident had something to do with drugs as the victim is a drug courier.

Around 10:35 p.m., Julkipra Ismael of Lower Calarian was shot to death by an unidentified man in Suterville. He sustained bullet wounds in the body and was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

Police recovered five spent shells of 9mm pistol at the crime scene. – Dan Toribio Jr.
