Jealousy behind stabbing of JB employee: police PDF Print E-mail

An employee of Jollibee, Gov. Camins branch, was stabbed and wounded by his backrider along Veterans Avenue last Tuesday morning.

Lloyd Albios Casanes, 24, of Tumaga, sustained multiple stab wounds in the body and was rushed to the hospital.

Police identified the assailant as Rey Guinit Pasco, 23, a native of Salug, Zamboanga del Norte.

Initial investigation disclosed that Casanes was driving his motorcycle along Veterans Avenue when he saw Pasco to whom he offered a ride as the latter is the live-in partner of the Casanes’ co-employee.

However while they were on motion, Pasco drew a knife and stabbed Casanes in the back several times.

Pasco escaped after the incident.
