CCTV package turned over to Lamitan port PDF Print E-mail

The Regional Ports Management Authority (RPMA) of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao released the CCTV package in a turnover ceremony at the Port of Lamitan Friday.

Mr. Ersan Imban Warad, Officer-In-Charge General Manager, led the ceremony graced with the presence of the Vice Mayor, Roderick H. Furigay himself and Port Manager, Mr. Erwin Cervantes.

The event was witnessed by the Mr. Alonto Sahiron, Regional Director of MARINA-ARMM and Engr. Marites K. Maguindra, Secretary of the Department of Tourism-ARMM. This initiative is a continuing compliance on the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code to which the Philippines is a party through the Department of Transportation and Communications-Office for Transportation Security (DOTC-OTS). This project was in time with the 18th Founding Anniversary celebration of the Authority through provision of program services to our seaports in the region.

On the other hand, the RPMA-ARMM and the Port of Lamitan Facility have provided space for the installation of the Tourism Information and Assistance Center (TIAC) in collaboration with the DOT-ARMM and the City of Lamitan. This joint project is to bring tourism services at entry points closer to our clienteles.
