DPWH poised to inaugurate projects of Fabian, Climaco PDF Print E-mail

The Department of Public Works and Highways District Office will soon inaugurate A series of projects implemented in the two congressional districts of Zamboanga City.
DPWH District Engineer Merham Acas disclosed that projects that will be inaugurated this month  are school buildings, farm-to-market roads, barangay roads, asphalt overlay and road rehabilitation.
Acas  appealed to the public for the understanding on some inconvenience the implementation of the projects has caused.

He advised motorvehicle drivers to follow the traffic reroute as instructed by the Zamboanga City Police Office’s Traffic Division in the billboard established at the site of each project so that it will not cause delay.    

Acas also said that his office is implementing outside infra projects identified by the different government agencies like the Department of Agriculture with the local government unit, Department of Education and Department of Agrarian and Reform.

He said that concerned agencies will identify the projects and make the request and project proposals, funding  and plans.

Thereafter, his office  will implement the projects identified by the government agencies and also by the two congessional offices.

Meanwhile, Acas explained that once the bill authored by Rep. Erbie A. Fabian on the creation of two DPWH district offices will pass, there will be job opening and employment opportunities. — Allen Abastillas
