Coast Guard, militiaman, 2 others caught with shabu PDF Print E-mail

Four persons,  including a Coast Guard and a militiaman were arrested inside a bar for possession of shabu Friday night.

Arrested were Mohammad Sitim Ahmad, 25, single, a Coast Guard personnel from Talon-Talon, Arzel Hasim Dahim, 26, married of Talon-Talon and Civilian Armed Auxiliary member; Jamalul Abbi Samparani, 30, married, of Mampang and a PUJ driver and Julhashir Umping Kamlon, 22, single, of talon-Talon. They were nabbed by men of the Zamboanga City Public Safety Company led by Supt. Ariel Huesca at a bar along Tetuan Highway for possession of four ize sachets of shabu, drug paraphernalia and cash amounting to  P22, 533 around 10:30 p.m.

The team also impounded their two motorcycles.

In another bar along Gov. Camins Avenue, the same team confiscated a blade weapon from Alberto Atilano Jr., a bar goer.

The police operation called “inspection and visitation to amusement centers” particularly on KTV bars as part of protecting the city against possible bomb plots by terror  group. — Dan Toribio Jr.
