Hafsa A. Taha-Aspi, OIC of  the Land Transportation Office-9’s Driver License Renewal Center based at Yubengco Mall in Putik thanked the Civil Service Commission for giving  her office a rating of  91.71 percent performance ( orexecellence)  in their annual survey in observation of Republic Act No. 9481 otherwise known as Anti- Red Tape Act-Report Card Survey this year.

Another applicant said that while waiting for the license card to be released, DLRC has also cable television to entertain the applicants.

The applicant area is airconditioned. “Applicants even can take a nap while waiting, unlike in other government agencies where areas for waiting the services are very hot and uncomfortable”, said an applicant.

Other LTO-9 district offices with excellence mark are Pagadian City, Ipil and Molave extension in Zamboanga del Sur.

Taha-Aspi said that their priority is always the clients.

She asked the indulgence of the public that if they can not serve on time it is due to offline.

She explained that it is not withing their jurisdiction because offline situation is brought about by an internet problem or pwer outages. DLRC will be open until December 28 to 29, 2015. — Allen Abastillas
