A female bus passenger was detained in jail after she was caught in possession of nine bullets while she was entering the newly opened Integrated Bus Terminal in Divisoria last Monday night.

Jailed was Indang Omar y Sangkula, 45, single of Upper Pulacan, Zamboanga del Norte.

Divisoria Police Station commander Chief Insp. Arlan Delumpines said that Omar was held at the terminal area after the metal detector detected bullets inside her baggage.

Upon verification, authorities at the terminal found nine bullets of 5.56 mm inside Omar’s bag .

Police said the incident happened around 8:25 while Omar was on her way to Pulacan, Zamboanga del Norte.

Omar was taken to the Divisoria Police Station where she was detained.

Delumpines said that Omar will be charged for illegal possession of ammunition.

Meanwhile, Richard Dela Cruz y Uro, 35, of Putik was arrested for possession of a questionable gun before midnight last Monday .

Initial investigation showed that Dela Cruz was drunk and was unruly as he fired his .45 caliber pistol indiscriminately. — Dan Toribio Jr.
