The Federacion Basketbolista de Zamboanga (FBZ) will be hosting Region 9’s SBP Clinic/Accreditation and Licensing for Referees on July 8, 9 and 10, 2011 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) at UZ Summit Centre in Tetuan, this city.

Two FIBA representatives from Manila will conduct the clinic and it will be done through classroom-theory-Powerpoint presentation and practical demonstration in a covered gym.  A written examination will be held on the last day of the clinic

Registration fee is P1,000 per participant. The fee covers clinic kit, program of activities, 2010 FIBA rules, writing materials, 2 snacks and 1 lunch/day for three days, certificate of completion, ID card.

The clinic, which will discuss new rules and latest trend on game officiating, is very important because it will bring opportunity to participants to become international referee through the recommendation of the Regional Director. It will give chance to the participants to officiate any FBZ-sanctioned tournament, and to earn additional income as well.

The clinic is being held by FBZ-SBP headed by Mr. Pedro C. Alfaro Jr., SBP Area Coordinator and FBZ president, and Atty. Jose Manuel S. Mamauag, SBP Regional Director and Trustee.

Participants must bring the following: Workout attire (rubber shoes, shorts), whistle, one (1) 1x1 and one (1) 2x2 pictures/photos. FIBA Rule Book is also available for sale at P200 each.
