Mayor Beng Climaco on Friday turned over to residents of Lamisahan three infrastructure projects set to benefit the barangay in its pursuit of local development and progress along the thrusts of security, health, and education.

Together with local officials, Climaco turned over to Lamisahan chairperson Rodel B. Alvarez a 39 meter hanging bridge worth P 1.9 M, a rehabilitated day care center worth P 441,504.20, and a 91 meter slope protection bridge worth P 1.4 M.

In total, the Mayor turned over P 3.8 M worth of infrastructure projects for Lamisahan.

The completion and turnovers of infrastructure projects remain a commitment of Climaco to help barangays in the performance and provision of their duties and responsibilities to the grassroots communities.

Last Tuesday, Climaco turned over to barangay Calarian a P500,000 center for the elderly constructed inside the barangay complex. — Jasmine Mohammadsali
