A 29-year-old man was arrested for possession of fake peso bills and an unlicensed firearm along Governor Camins Avenue last Saturday night.

Police identified the suspect as Kimsar Ismael y Alibi, married, of Lower Calarian.
A police report disclosed that Ismael was driving a motorcycle that figured in a road accident along Gov. Camins Avenue around 8 p.m.
Ismael ran away after he saw policemen who chased and cornered him near Amigo-Amiga eatery.

Because of his suspicious act, police frisked him and found in his possession a .45 caliber pistol with nine rounds of ammunition, three fake P1,000 bills, wallet containing P15, 360, cellular phone, phone charger and a student driving permit issued by the Land Transportation Office.

The suspect was taken to the police station for questioning.
