LTO-9 bares 33% hike in 2015 revenue take PDF Print E-mail

The Land Transportation Office-9 has increased its revenue collection in 2015 by 33 percent in comparison with 2014’s take.

LTO-9 collected  P475,711,953 in 2015  as compared to 357,681,421.78 in 2014.

LTO-9 Director Aminola P. Abaton that registration of motorvehicles totalled 282,402 for 2015 in 2015, while in 2014, it was only 248,751, or a difference of 13.45 percent.

Total law enforcement  revenue collection for 2015 is  P13,370,915  as compared to P6,726,355.25 in 2014  or an increase of 98.80 percent.

Abaton presided yesterday morning the first year quarter senior transportation officer conference.

He directed all officers to continue enforcing the law and discipline drivers so that road accidents can be prevented including road safetiness and worthiness of motorvehicles in the region  for the safety of commuters and the whole public.

Meanwhile, Assistant Regional Director Mo. Yusop Lamping has been appointed by LTO chief Assec. Roberto Cabrera as chairman of the Committee on Anti- Fixing.

Lamping is concurrent chief of LTO Ipil District Office in Zamboanga Sibugay. He is scheduled to have a meeting on Thursday and Friday in Manila. — Allen Abastillas
