Two persons were shot and wounded by a retired fireman at Saranggani Drive, San Jose Gusu last Monday.

Police also arrested the brother of one of the victims for possession of undocumented gun during a follow-up operation.

The victims were identified as Roman Moratilla, 29 and Albaser Ismain, 23, both residents of Baliwasan.

Police identified the gunman as Abdulgajir Asadil y Tandih, 64, a retired fireman and  a native of Jolo, Sulu who surrendered after the incident.

A police report disclosed that Asadil went to the house of Moratillo, looking for Rudimar Moratillo. However he figured in a heated argument with Roman that ended in the shooting.

Police said that while Asadil  was firing at Roman, Ismain tried to pacify but was also shot.

During a follow-up operation, while investigators were getting a statement from Rudimar,  they noticed that the latter has a .38 cal. revolver tucked in his waist.
