Holduppers hit resto in Tetuan PDF Print E-mail

Police have launched a manhunt operation against two holduppers who robbed a restaurant along Alfaro St., Tetuan, Friday.

A police report disclosed that an unidentified man entered the Savoury Restaurant branch in Tetuan around 5:15 p.m. where he pretended as customer.

When he was inside the eatery, the man suddenly pointed a .45 caliber pistol at the cashier identified as Jackilyn Pareja Dugaduga, 35, a stay-in worker.

The gunman announced a holdup and grabbed Dugaduga’s Nokia cell phone worth P12,000. He also scooped P300 from the cashier drawer.

Police said that the holdupper escaped with a cohort who served as his look-out during the heist.

After gathering the description of the suspects, policemen led by Supt. Nonito Asdai launched follow-up operations for the holduppers. – Dan Toribio
