Nuevo  Zamboanga Movement   President  Monsi Cris dela Cruz took time out to sit  with  leaders of the different barangays and  young professionals  to take   note  of their  suggestions  and  pressing  concerns.

“I want to  engage  our residents, our barangay leaders   in a  dialogue, they are  our  stakeholders, they know best  what   their barangay  really needs.”

“I am not here to  compete, I am  for progress more than anything else,  progress that will  benefit  our  city,” he  assured the group.

Monsi  emphasized on  education as being pivotal   in  empowering our  youth in order for them  to be able   to   help their  families  and eventually improve their lives.   In his  personal capacity,   Monsi in   recent  years   established   two schools    that cater  mostly  to the poor, Nuevo Zamboanga College located at  Lantaka Hotel in Valderroza Street and   Pasobolong, east of  the city.

Among  those who participated in the dialogue are  Barangay Chairmen  Hussin O. Sangkula  of  Zone  1,  Teodoro Carreon of Capisan, Abe  Solis  Tan  of  Sta. Maria , Jojo Del Rosario of  Tulungatung,  Myrna  Vickroy of  Dulian, Henry Soler  of  Talisayan,  Rey  Modillas of  Cawit and  some   young professionals.    Monsi Cris Dela Cruz is  vying   for the  1st  District Congressional Seat   in the City of  Zamboanga come  May  2016.
