Two college students were killed in a bar gun attack in Barangay Putik at dawn yesterday.
Killed were Ferdause Timbang y Moras, 22, of Locson Drive and Kaisar Sabtirul y Salasa, 22, of Christina Homes Subdivision, in Talon-Talon. They sustained multiple bullet wounds in their body and died on the spot.

A sketchy police report disclosed that Timbang and Sabtirul were drinking at Tattoo Beer House around 2:45 a.m. when four men arrived and also had a drinking session at another table.
Moments later, they engaged in a heated argument until the four men drew their handguns and opened fire on Timbang and Sabtirul.

The gunmen sped towards city proper after shooting Timbang and Sabtirul.

Recovered at the crime scene were 26 spent shells and 26 slugs of .45 caliber and 9mm pistol.
City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo said that investigators of the Divisoria police station were still working to idenify and arrest the killers. — Dan Toribio Jr.
