WMSU, Turkey university sign MOA PDF Print E-mail

The Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) and the Aydin University in Turkey have signed a memorandum of agreement for collaboration of exchange students and faculties between the two universities.

The signing was held during WMSU President Dr. Milabel Ho’s recent official trip to Turkey that was made upon the invitation of Aydin University officials.

Dr. Ho said they will study and identify what courses to open between the two institutions with its faculties to exchange. Thereafter, they will formalize the plans and programs of exchange students and faculties.

On the other hand, WMSU under Ho’s leadership has been awarded by the National Agriculture Fisheries Education System ( NAFES ) as the National University for College of Agriculture.

“We have a program for animal center and development of banana tissue,” Ho revealed.

Meanwhile, Ho said she is now preparing for the university to become a certified International Organization for Standardization ( ISO ).

She calls all the support of stakeholders and parents to watch their children in the quest for peace, unity and solidarity. — Allen Abastillas
