For 60 years, the search for the most beautiful woman in the world was motivated by a single inspiration: “Beauty with a Purpose”. With such compelling impetus, the Miss World pageant has produced a list of women who have been celebrated for their stunning good looks, as well as for their single-minded desire to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate.

For the first time, in the Philippine pageant history, the first Miss World - Philippines will be chosen - which is why the Miss World Philippines through its extensive efforts, decided to search for beautiful Filipinas, not only in Metro Manila but also in cities within in the country.

Dramatically altering the beauty pageant landscape, Ms. Quirino has decided to make new history, by raising the prize money to P1,000,000 and an SMDC condo unit.
“We want Miss World Philippines to be a positive influence in the life of our winner by improving the quality of her life.” says Cory Quirino.
