Eight persons were arrested in three separate police operations called “one time, big time operation” yesterday morning.

Armed with a search warrant, men of the Ayala Police Station backed-up by Task Force Zamboanga and other police units led by Sr. Insp. Karin Muharram raided around 4:30 a.m.three houses at Purok 3A in  Recodo.

The raiders recovered at the house of Alvin Adam and Sandra Adam an improvised shotgun with five rounds of ammunition, three medium sachets of suspected shabu and several drug paraphernalia.

On the other hand, the house of Abdul Asanan yielded a slot machine.

A similar police operation was carried out at Texas, Licomo by policemen led by Chief Insp. Salvador Galvez and army troops against some target personalities.

Galvez’ team carrying a search warrant raided the house of a certain Sidang where it recovered 17 sachets of suspected shabu, a grenade, one short magazine of M 16 with 10 rounds of ammunition, a .38 cal. revolver with six rounds of ammunition,  and two cell phones.

The search carried out at the house of Toto Punkol Limucon, yielded a .38cal.  revolver with nine rounds of ammunition, two rifle grenades, short magazine for M16 with ammunition.

Galvez and the raiding team  also searched the house of Bobby Samson, where they  recovered a . 45 cal. pistol, a magazine with ammunition,  six sachets of shabu and  two strips of aluminum foil.

Another police similar operation carried out by men of the Divisoria Police Station led by Chief Insp. Arlan Delumpines at Valley Subdivision in Divisoria resulted in the arrest of Muhaimin Ali y Lopez, 22 and his brother Khadafy Ali y Lopez, 28.

Confiscated from their possession were one medium size, one small size of suspected shabu, knife and drug paraphernalia. – Dan Toribio Jr.
