A teenager was arrested during a buy-bust operation in Sangali the other day.

Absmar Bibora Sampang, 18, of Tulungatung, was arrested by men of the Sangali Police Station led by Chief Insp. Gary Bahoy backed-up by army troops.

Policemen recovered a sachet of shabu, and P200 marked money from the Sampang’s possession.

Bahoy said the suspect was detained at the Sangali Police Station while the seized items were forwarded to 9thpNP Crime Laboratory for examination.

Meanwhile, men of the Curuan Police Station led by Chief Insp. Ramon Bautista arrested Raphy Hussin Sampang,  26, of Sangali.

Police said that Sampang was nabbed on the strength of a warrant for frustrated homicide with a case number 27299.

The warrant was issued by Judge Gregorio V. Dela Peña III of the Regional Trial Court Branch 12.

The accused was taken to the Curuan Police Station pending his turn-over to the court. – Dan Toribio
