Burglars broke into the house of a school principal in Mercedes and got away with cash and valuables worth P270,000, last Tuesday.

The robbery took place at the house of Dr. Ronilo Mallari Martinez, 52, a school principal of Sangali National High School,  at Lot 11, Rosita’s Homes Subdivision in Mercedes.

The robbery was discovered around 3:55 p.m. and was reported to the Culianan Police Station for investigation.

During ocular investigation, policemen found out the robbers took P160,000 in cash, Rado wrist watch worth P40,000, Samsung cell phone worth P20,000, assorted jewelry worth P8,5000, two telepad PLDT worth P10,000, IpodApple worth P27,000 and Samsung tablet worth P12,000.

Police have lifted some finger prints that may lead to the identity of  the robbers. – Dan Toribio
