Councilor Gerky Valesco inspite being from District 1 was tapped as guest speaker and inducting officer during the school assembly and induction ceremony of the Tolosa National High School in  east coast last Saturday.

In his message, Valesco enjoined the parents to strengthen their role in motivating the children toward a vibrant attitude in learning.

“The Brigada Eskwela concept is a relevant concept of unison that can make a difference. It is a concept of cooperation amongst the various stakeholders in the community to develop a sense of shared responsibility that makes education the focal phase of every child. Other than having a decent learning environment, everyone in the community should also be an active participant by providing time, efforts and dedication,” Valesco said.
