Hundreds of youths in the country are supporting the advocacy of Sports, Education and Job Generartion of 1-Pacman partylist whose nominee Dr. Mikee Romero is also a young successful businessman and holder of two Doctorate Degrees in Economics and Management and who was a former professor of Ateneo De Manila University and La Salle. The youths coming from multi-sectioral communities believe that 1-Pacman’s advocacy is the hope of the country’s youth.

1-Pacman partylist is independent from any national politicians but many politicians are supporting the partylist’s advocacy. Dr. Mikee Romero, as a non-politician, who accepted the nomination of the 1-Pacman partylist can assure the delivery of the services of the partylist advocacy. Sports in the country will be highly beneficial to the country’s youth. Aside from discovering their sports prowess and talent, it will also keep the youths away from illegal drug activities by keeping them busy.

Dr. Romero has supported the development of education as his contribution, being a successful businessman. Thousands of educational scholars are recipients of his scholarship grants. He has also donated modern books to many school libraries in Metro Manila and has promised to expand the distribution of library books throughout the country if given the chance for his 1-Pacman partylist to serve in Congress.

He has also extended jobs for deserving recipients being a successful businessman. Right now his business of a modern port terminal afforded convenience for hundreds of boat passengers in Manila’s North Harbor and his Asian Airlanes contributed to the low fare rate for airline passengers. 1-Pacman, if successful in its congressional seat bid, will expand the services of job generation and assist jobless Filipinos land fruitful employment in the country and revive the successful Emergency Employment Authority (EEA) of the late President Diosdado Macapagal, who during his term had given thousands of emergency jobs to the country’s jobless Filipinos.

The Aetas indigenous people (IP) in Zambales, Central Luzon are recipients of Dr. Mikee Romero’s charitable program by assisting them with a training center for the IP’s livelihood projects and the IP Subanens in Zamboanga Del Sur are recipients of almost 3,000 houses built for poor Subanens in Zamboanga Del Sur. 1-Pacman envisions to provide sports development for the IP’s in the country and give them the opportunity to excel in the field of sports.

Scoop: In a nationwide radio interview Dr. Mikee Romero, 1-Pacman nominee, promised to bare his advocacy programs as a priority in Congress if given the chance to serve the Filipino youths and Indigenous Peoples of the country. He also promised to involved the participation of youth movements in sports and education once he is in Congress.
