Zamboanga Sibugay Governor Rommel Jalosjos said he supports President Noynoy Aquino and appreciates what the latter is currently doing for the good and benefit of the country.

Jalosjos, who was in Zamboanga City yesterday, said that since childhood he was trained by his elders to give full respect to anyone on top of the hierarchy and that this has become part of their family tradition.

“I can always adjust and I can easily adopt to the new administration (of Aquino) as what my parents did to former fast presidents of the country for the sake of progress and development,” said the young Jalosjos.

Jalosjos revealed that he has always been telling the people of Sibugay to stay united and solid because the country has only one flag.
He said before he became the leader of the province, he worked in Australia and experienced that that country is very different because it has multi-racial population and many different kinds of people.

He recounts how the people in Australia respect the law of the land and follow one flag.
Meanwhile, Jalosjos disclosed that he has requested the military and the police to augment their forces in the municipality of Tungawan which is under Mayor Randy Climaco  to ensure the safety and security of its people.

“I requested the Philippine Army Riverine unit and police to assign more men in Tungawan so that the daily activities and livelihood  of the ordinary people, fisherfolks and farmers will not be hampered,” Jalosjos said. — Allen Abastillas
