An alleged notorious shabu pusher was arrested while his mother eluded arrest during a drug buy-bust operation in Recodo yesterday afternoon.
The suspect was identified as Arman Lao, a driver by profession. He was nabbed by operatives of the Zamboanga City Public Safety Company under Supt. Diomarie Albarico.

Policemen were still conducting inventory of the recovered items including packs of shabu allegedly from the possession of Lao.

Lao’s Toyota RAV4, equipped with surveillance camera at the rear,  was also brought to the ZCPSC headquarters  after they found some firearm magazines aboard.
Policemen swooped down on a house in Recodo after a buy-bust operation was staged against Lao and his mother, said to be known shabu suppliers in the west coast and in Maluso, Basilan.

A police undercover agent met Lao and after shabu and marked money changed hands, a back-up team cornered Lao, but his mother slipped away.
Lao is a relative of Armin Daris, also a known drug pusher in Recodo, who recently shot and killed a man and wounded another, last week. — Dan Toribio Jr.
