Woman loses P20,000 to bike-riding snatchers PDF Print E-mail

A woman lost her shoulder bag containing P20,000 to snatchers riding on a motorcycle along San Jose Road at dawn last Monday.
The victim was identified as Noreen Carmen Forte.

Police said the incident took place before 1 a.m. Forte was riding on a motorcycle driven by her husband when two men aboard another motorcycle chased them and the backrider grabbed her shoulder bag.

The victim told the police that the snatchers sped away with the bag.

Police said that Forte’s bag contained P20,000, ATM card, credit cards, two cell phones and some pertinent papers.
City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo has directed his men to conduct follow-up operations against the snatchers.— Dan Toribio Jr.
