A 46-year-old man was shot with an airgun while he was urinating at a private lot along Veterans Avenue last Wednesday afternoon.

Roel Miguel, married, of Pasobolong, sustained a pellet wound at the back of his left leg.

A police report disclosed that around 4:45 p.m. Miguel drove his four-wheel vehicle to Nationwide store along Veterans Avenue to fetch an angle bar. He went to a vacant lot to pee when he saw a man who was later identified as Hji. Roger Tiblani Asa, 60, widower gestured his hand telling him to leave the place.

Miguel told the police that he did not get the meaning of Asa’s hand sign and continued urinating on a corner.

Seconds later, Miguel heard a burst from an airgun and felt a pain in the leg. He later found out that he was hit by a pellet.

The incident was reported to the Tetuan Police station that resulted in the recovery of a pistolized air gun with 22 pellets and a CO2 pressurized cylinder tank from Asa’s possession.– Dan Toribio
