Beng turns over infra projects worth P14.7M to islands PDF Print E-mail

Mayor Beng Climaco over the weekend took off to the island barangays to spearhead the turn over 10 infrastructure projects worth P14.7 million as she vigorously pursues her priority thrust on Security, Health and Education.

The projects turned over consisted of concreting of roads and shoreline protection projects costing P4.9M in Pasilmanta; construction of barangay hall, site development and farm to market road worth P5.56M in Landang Gua and construction of seaweed dryer, farm to market road and shoreline protection worth P4.19 million in Landang Laum.

The projects were implemented by private contractors under the supervision of the City Engineer’s Office and monitored by the Barangay Affairs Division under the Office of the City Mayor.

Mayor Climaco said her administration continues to deliver the much needed services to the people in all barangays regardless of the distance and location.

Numerous other projects are ongoing in the other island barangays and will be turned over in due time. — Sheila Covarrubias
