Presidents of the Zamboanga Homeowners and People’s Organizations Federation,Inc.  from the  West Coast  led  by Chairperson Marissa  Aizon met with on Saturday  with congressional aspirant for District  1 Monsi Cris Dela  Cruz last at the Roofdeck of  the Lantaka Hotel.

Monsi was  given an  opportunity to talk to the presidents of the urban poor  about his platform of  government.

“I am committed to help the urban poor sector  the best way I can. I would like  to dialogue with you and  be able to address your concerns and be your voice in  Congress,” Monsi said.

Aizon, who spoke in behalf of the  group, said they  can feel Monsi’s sincerity when it comes to helping the poor and the  marginalized  sectors, thus  the decision to  support his bid for congress this time. “He speaks from the heart.”

One of the urban poor presidents spoke of how she  was convinced that Monsi should  be the  next congressman particularly in the  first  district because  even on his private capacity  he has  already been helping  those  who are in need.

“Cosa ya lang gaha si elihido ya le?Ele un hente tiene gat corazon para na maga pobre.”

Zamboanga Homeowners and People’s Organizations Federation,Inc.has around 17,000 members.
