The Laban ng Demokratikong Pilipino (LDP), Adelante Zamboanga Party (AZAP) and Nacionalista (NP) coalition continues to gain momentum in their daily campaign swing in the various barangays in both District 1 and District 2.

ZThe group’s number of supporters swell as gleaned from its house-to-house sorties as well as rallies that are jampacked with big crowds raring to listen to  legitimate issues of the city and the platform of the “Team Colorao”.

District 1 House Representative Celso Lobregat said that the continued domination and increase in popularity of his candidates in the council slate is an indication that the people are getting aware of the real state of the city as well as the track records, performance, plans and programs of their formidable team which is leading the city into right direction.

Lobregat said that despite the persisting “below the belt” propaganda being being dished out by their political opponents, the morale of the red team candidates remains high.

“Now that the election day is past approaching, the people can see for themselves who campaigns truthfully and proficiently. We arefocused on our agenda and our contract with the people,”Lobregat said.

The solon said that the desperate move of their opponents is not affect the momentum being held now by “Team Colorao” and this is an encouragement in boosting confidence to win.

“The Zamboangueños are educated voters, they are aware of what is happening in the city. We cannot fool them by telling lies or presenting shallow issues. They deserve the truth and we are presenting it,” Lobregat said.

District 2 House Representative Lilia Macrohon-Nuño is similarly elated over the warm response of the constituents and serious commitment given to her team.

Nuño said that even though her opponent desperately resort to black propaganda enough to malign her and her family, it has not changed the policy of the team maintain high level campaign.

“Masquin hasta demiyo personal vida y familia ta mal-abla el demiyo contraryo na congreso, hinde yo conele pone atensyon, el demiyo lang presenta mi mga programa y plataporma para con el pueblo, cay iyo hinde imbustero,” Nuño said.

Team Colorao in District 2 which is composed of majority of the incumbent officials continues to sustain their popularity anywhere they go in their daily campaign sorties.

“I am very happy with the warm reception and acceptance of the people of our candidates. Everybody is campaigning in high spirit and we believe that the voters are certain about their decision to re-elect worthy officials who are with this dominant political team,” Nuño said. — Dexter Yap
