Two persons were placed under investigation after they demolished a house at Masepla 3 transitory site in Mampang last Monday night.

Police said that Kasim Aliaskal y Muntasir, 30, contracted Edwin Arabani to dismantle the house of Mariam Yusop and sold the materials to a certain Balinganga.

Authorities caught Aliaskal in the act of selling some coco lumber taken from the house they demolished.

Police said that Arabani admitted that he was the one who accepted the job from Aliaskal for a fee of P3,000 due to financial problem.

The two were taken to the police station for investigation leading to the filing of malicious mischief case in court.

The Tetuan police is in close coordination with the authorities at the transitory site to monitor the activities of some IDPs who engaged in selling house materials.
