Man shot dead in Campo Islam PDF Print E-mail

A 39-year-old man was shot to death in Sampaloc Drive, Campo Islam at noon last Friday.

Chief Insp. Hingming Chang Ladjaali, Sinunuc Police Station chief, identified the fatality as Wilfred Pollencia, married.

Pollencia sustained multiple bullet wounds in the body and was taken to the hospital where he was later declared dead due to fatal bullet wounds.

Initial investigation showed that Pollencia was having a conversation with a friend only identified as Samman when a gunman known only Dats armed with a .45 caliber pistol appeared and shot him several times.

The gunman escaped after the incident.

Policemen recovered two spent shells, two slugs and a bullet of .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene.

Ladjaali and his men have launched hot pursuit operations against the suspect. – Dan Toribio
