HPG-9 recovers stolen Toyota car PDF Print E-mail

The Highway Patrol Group -9 turned over last Sunday to the owner through his authorized representative a suspected stolen Toyota Vios.

HPG-9 Operation Officer Sr. Insp. Mervin Claret disclosed that HPG-9 Chief Sr. Supt. Joel R. Dimaano personally turned over the motorvehicle to D.C Deleon by virtue of Special Power of Attorney from the owner identified as B.N De Leon from Metro Manila.

According to Claret, the red mica metallic  Toyota Vios bearing plate number AEA 3830  was spotted along Nuñez Extension last April 26, 2016 around 11:00 a.m.  It was  seized  by the HPG-9 operatives based on the written complaint dated March 28,2016  filed in HPG- Camp Crame  stating that the motorvehicle failed to return by the supposed buyer a certain Dani A. Vilamor.

The HPG-9 men reported that the motorvehicle was driven by a certain Jaga Abubakar of Ayala, Zamboanga City. When it was seized by the HPG-9 operatives. Abubakar alleged that he does  not know the status of the motorvehicle. Thereafter ,Dimaano directed the team to impound the motorvehicle and coordinate with the Crime Laboratory 9 for the conduct of the macro-etching process.

After the process of investigation, HPG-9 reported the recovery  to Camp Crame and to the real owner who sent his representative  carrying a Special Power of Attorney — Allen Abastillas
