“Team Colorao” is appealing for consideration from the public for the big crowd expected to join them in their grand motorcade today in the entire city.

From east to west in the morning then to the city proper in the afternoon, Team Colorao is expected to rally Zamboangeños as well as brave the heavy traffic expected in the city proper where hundreds of motorists and supporters are expected to join the dominant political team.

Campaign Manager Jomar Lobregat said they have decided to limit the number of vehicles and personalities accompanying each candidate because they know that this will cause a very big traffic nightmare in the city, and they have to bear with the riding public who will be temporarily disturbed on their routes.

“We beg for indulgence from among our supporters and all those who would like to join us in this event, as much as we would like to accommodate all of them but our roads are narrow and the red line is very long. So we cannot give them the exact number of our convoy, but still they are most welcome to join us by tailing our candidates towards the end,” Lobregat said.

Aside from the candidates of “Team Colorao” headed by incumbent Congressmen Celso Lobregat and Lilia Nuño, partylist groups, supporters of senatorial bets as well as presidential and vice-presidential guest candidates are expected to join the group for the final salvo of the campaign.

“We can’t control the growing number of supporters of Team Colorao. It’s given, they are dominant and will surely win this election overwhelmingly against their opponents,” the younger Lobregat said.

Meanwhile, Congressman Celso Lobregat was in high spirit upon learning the overwhelming strong semblance of victory of his team who came out dominant in various local surveys conducted in the city.

Lobregat said that after evaluating the performance of his team in their 45-day campaign he was convinced that “Team Colorao” will predominantly win this election, seeing the eagerness of the people to bring them back to the local governance after realizing the shortcomings of the present administration.

The solon said that their continued unconditional public service is their key to victory as well as in inspiring each one of them to become watchdogs of public interest and in looking into the affairs of the city as well.

Lobregat said that they will continue to pursue and advocate their platform of governance, specifically the Contract of Unity and Continuity Towards a More Developed, Peaceful and Progressive Zamboanga City. — Dexter Yap
