A passenger vessel crew was shot to death by a gunman at Jolo pier last Saturday night.

Raymond Simbajon, a native of Pagadian City, sustained bullet wounds in the body and died on the spot.

A sketchy report disclosed that Simbajon alighted from the vessel around 6 p.m. and while walking at the Jolo port area, a gunman appeared and shot him without any word.

The killer disappeared amid the crowd.

DZT tried to get an official report from the police but no one was available.

The body of the victim was scheduled to be brought to his home province for burial. – Dan Toribio Jr.
