A security guard was killed in a gun attack in Curuan Thursday morning.

Killed was Ibno Hasim Jalalum Aharon, 52, married. He was a security guard of a PLDT tower in Marangan, Muti.

Police said Aharon sustained multiple bullet wounds in the head and body and was rushed to the Cristino Paragas Memorial Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

DZT gathered that Aharon was driving a multicab with some hitchhikers identified as Urman pandak, 10, Raphi Pandak, 13, Jadir Lao, 6 and Aris Pandak 11, on their way home after buying gallons of water in Buenavista, when two men riding tandem on a motorcycle appeared and the backrider shot him several times at Km. 57, Curuan, .

Witnesses told DZT that after Aharon was hit by bullets, he fell unconscious and his multicab crashed on the road with the children aboard to sustained injuries in their body.

They were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police recovered seven spent shells and a slug of .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene.

Police were looking into personal dispute as the motive behind the shooting.

Meanwhile, Juan Enriquez y Gonzales, 49, a government driver of Estrada Drive, San Roque was driving a government FAW vehicle with plate number SKU 444, on his way to City Hall when the back rider of a motorcycle and opened fire on him.

Enriquez managed to drop on the floor of the vehicle and escaped unhurt.
