Mystery shrouds school exec’s fatal building fall PDF Print E-mail

Police are investigating on the mysterious death of a school official who was said to have fallen from the third floor of a building at the Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology yesterday morning.

The fatality was identified as Constancio Teofilo, Jr., Assistant Dean of College of Marine Food Sciences and a resident of San Roque.

It was gathered that Teofilo went up the third floor of the Food Science building and fell down landing on a concrete ground.

Teofilo sustained skull and bone fractures and was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead by physicians.

This reporter tried to get statement from school officials but no one was available. The security personnel of the school prevented reporters from going into the school as ordered by a school official.

Police were still to trying to determine whetherTeofilo jumped himseld or somebody pushed him to fall.

It was learned that there was no valid reason for Teofilo to commit suicide. – Dan Toribio
