A man and his son were jailed after they hacked and wounded a carpenter at Sitio Sapa Bongga, Lanzones last Thursday afternoon.

Sr. Insp. Elmer Solon, Culianan Police Station chief, identified those arrested as Cecilio Malcampo y Fuentevella, 61, farmer and his son Marlon Malcampo y OCay, 36, married and a habal-habal driver.

Solon also identified the victim as Arnold Quebral y Capunay, 42, married.

The victim sustained a hack wound in the right part of the chest and was taken to the hospital.

Police said that around 3:45 p.m. Quebral and the two figured in a fight but were pacified by men of the Culianan Policed Station.

However around 5:15 p.m. of the same day, while Quebral was at the furniture shop of a certain Reynold, he met again the father and son where they resumed their fight.

Cecilio and Quebral engaged in a bolo duel while Marlon pelted him with stones.
