Young woman’s bones, earrings, shorts dug up at bodega site PDF Print E-mail

Police are investigating what appears to be the murder of a young woman whose skeletal remains were dug up Friday at a site where a warehouse is being constructed in Tugbungan, this city.

Construction workers were digging a hole for a building foundation near the Tugbungan parish church when they stumbled into a human skeleton in an about 1 meter shallow grave. Futher digging uncovered several human bones without skull.

The incident was reported to the police and during ocular investigation, policemen also found a pair of earrings and a female shorts along with the skeleton.

Personnel from the Scene of the Crime Operative (SOCO) retrieved the skeletal remains and took them to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for further examination.

DZT gahered that the owner of the lot called a priest to offer a mass for the soul of the woman and according to those who attended the religious service they sensed some paranormal occurences like seeing the shadow of a ghost.
