2 hurt in separate hacking incidents PDF Print E-mail

Two men were wounded in separate hacking incidents in Cabatangan and Tumaga last Thursday night.
Police identified the victims as Jerry Manalo, a power saw operator of Cabatangan and Elmer Sebastian, of Caridad, Tumaga.

Manalo was hacked by Randy Molito, also a power saw operator.
A police report disclosed that Manalo and Molito engaged in a heated argument during which Manalo punched Molito in the body. Molito grabbed a bolo and attacked Manalo hitting him in the right portion of the body.

Sebastian was hacked by Edilberto Enot, also a resident of Caridad, Tumaga.

Police said that Sebastian, who was drunk, armed with a bolo and went to the house of Enot to confront him on an unknown matter. Enot also took a bolo and attacked Sebastian hitting him in the right cheek.

Both suspects were arrested during follow-up operations. — Dan Toribio Jr.
