The Land Transportation Office-9 has recently launched “Oplan Balik Eskwela”.

LTO-9  Director Aminola P. Abaton said Oplan Balik Eskwela is a yearly activity of LTO nationwide to assist in traffic in the different parts of the region when classes are open next week.

Abaton directed the different district offices, especially the Law Enforcement Office, to also coordinate with the local police traffic unit for the event.

Meanwhile, Hafsa Taha-Aspi, officer in charge of the Driver License Renewal Center in Yubengco Mall Putik, has reported to Abaton that her revenue collection for the month of May is only P160,439.72. It was only for eight days because her office working station has suffered malfunctions and for three weeks.

According to Taha- Aspi , the usual revenue collection of her office is five times the amount if it the operation is normal.

On the other hand, Regional Law Enforcement Chief Allan Macabangkit urged motorvehicle owners to always carry their unit registration because LTO-9 is implementing the “ No Registration No Travel Policy”.

Macabangkit also advised motorvehicle owners to carry the documents of authority from LTO if they are using commemorative plates because there is penalty or fine if they do not have LTOauthorization. — Allen Abastillas
