The Highway Patrol Group-9’s Zamboanga del Norte team recovered on Thursday a stolen four-wheelvehicle

Sr. Insp. Inocencio P. Jamolod in his report to Sr. Supt. Joel R.  Dimaano, chief, HPG9, described the recovered vehicle as a brown Mitsubishi Pajero model 2015 with plate number AFB4192.

Operation officer Sr. Inspector Mervin  Claret said that Jamolod along with Insp. Ariel Yogyog, PO3 Liborio Velasco III, Ronald Aldojesa and PO1 Alhajar Hamjani  were conducting an anti-carnaping operation along the road in Barangay  San Pedro going to Pulauan Port in Dapitan City, when they spotted the Pajero that was flagged down for an initial violation of having no validating sticker for calendar year 2016.

When the vehicle was checked with the HPG online Vehicle Information Management System ( VIMS, it was found out that the unit is under the wanted list of motorvehicles with alarm number 20160329. The registered owner is from Manila. The driver of the unit when flagged down was a ceratin Rani  Pulmares of Sultan Kudarat.

Dimaano lauded Jamolod and his team for the recovery of the motorvehicle and directed the latter to conduct a throrough investigation and coordinate with the PNP Crime Laboratory in his area for the macro-etching examination. — Allen Abastillas
