‘Shabu Queen’, 10 others fall in citywide anti-drug drive PDF Print E-mail

An alleged “shabu queen” was arrested during a police operation at Purok 3A, Recodo last Monday morning.

Ayala Police Station commander Sr. Insp. Karib Muharram identified the suspect as Sitti Hanna Asilin y Asnawi, 46, married.She was nabbed on the strength of a warrant for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165. The warrant was issued by Judge Eric Elumba of the Regional Trial Court Branch 13.

Asilin is also in the wanted list of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Meanwhile, Akram Sabiran y Barahim, 44, of Sitio Texas, Camino Nuevo was arrested by men of the Vitali Police Station during a buy-bust operation around 7 p.m. Monday. Confiscated from his possession were nine sachets of shabu, P200 marked money and several drug paraphernalia.

Kevin Tommy y Dalgo, 23, of Tumaga was arrested in Shanty Town, Luyahan, Pasonanca by men of the Divisoria Police Station. Confiscated from his possession were eight sachets of shabu, P200 marked money and drug paraphernalia.

Romy Baksan, 37, of Tumaga, Bruce Apostol, 21, Alvin Atilano, 22 and Gino Modelo, 22, were nabbed by men of the Sta. Maria Police Station in Sto Nino, Tumaga. Confiscated from their possession were 12 small sachets and one medium size sachet of shabu, drug paraphernalia and P200 marked money.

The same team also conducted another buy-bust operation in Ramillano Drive, Tumaga on the same day that resulted in the arrest of Sherwin Austria Torres, 33 and Jay Arlnuferio Ramillano, 28, while Edgardo Ramillano Siano, 34, eluded arrest. Seized by the police from  those arrested were one medium size, one large size sachet, nine small size sachets, drug paraphernalia and P500 marked money.

Shermar Hairal, 25, married of Manggal Drive, Baliwasan was arrested by men of the Central Police Station’s SAIDSOTG. Confiscated from him were eight sachets of shabu, P200 marked money and drug paraphernalia.

Eddiel Dave Santiago, 26, of Zambowood was arrested by men of Divisoria Police Station in Putik. Cnfiscated from his possession were six sachets, P200 marked money, drug paraphernalia and four serviceable ammunition of caliber 5.56.

Maing Ahmad, was nabbed by men of the Sinunuc Police Station in Campo Islam. Recovered from his possession were eight sachets of shabu, P200 marked money and five bullets of .22 caliber.

Police said that the suspect’s cohort identified as Pikal Jamsid eluded arrest. — Dan Toribio
