An alleged drug pusher was shot to death by two gunmen at Bunkhouse in Taluksangay last Thursday night.

Sr. Insp. Elmer Solon, Culianan Police Station commander, identified the fatality as Abdul Hussin Kallung y Adjarain, 33, married. He sustained 18 bullet wounds fired from a .45 caliber pistol and 9mm pistol.

A police report disclosed that Kallung was on his way home from a store around 8:20 p.m. when two gunmen appeared and shot him several times.

The gunmen quitely left the place.

Police recovered two spent shells of 9mm pistol, three spent shells and one bullet of .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene.

Kallung was said to be one of those who surrendered to the police and barangay officials of Taluksangay last week and promised that he will stop engaging in illegal drugs.

However before he was shot and killed, DZT gathered that Kallung sold “tawas” to some drug users saying that it was shabu.

Police were still trying to determine the identities of the killers. – Dan Toribio
