RMN’s ‘Sugod Escuela 2016' serves students in far-flung school PDF Print E-mail

Students of Sto Niño Elementary School in upper Sinunuc benefited from the RMN’s “Sugod Escuela 2016” last Friday.

The said project of Radio Mindanao Network DXRZ 900 Khz- Zamboanga headed by Station Manager Joel Sanson rendered free dental services, haircut and distributed school supplies to the students.

The activity was very successful despite distance of the school that is about 5 kilometers by foot from the barangay road of Sinunuc.

The mission was made possible in coordination with the Task Force Zamboanga under Col. Juvymax Uy, SCAR, 611th Navy Squadron Reserve Western Mindanao, Triskelion de Zamboanga,  21st IB-PA, former councilor Gerky Valesco, Councilor Boday Cabato, Ticket 1 and Ms. Melita Sabanal.

The school leadership headed by the principal thanked RMN Zamboanga and other sponsors for their sympathy to the poor pupils of the remote school.

Meanwhile, RMN Zamboanga with the TFZ, PAF, 21st IB, 611th Navy Reserve Squadron , SCAR, WMSU College of Social Work, Tau Gamma Phi  Zamboanga Council conducted a clean-up drive Thursday in Barangay Campung Islam wherre several sacks of garbage were collected.

The clean-up drive was conducted in the different roads and interior pathways where garbage have been thrown by some irresponsible residents.
