All Land Transportation Office regional offices have been directed by LTO chief Undersecretary Edgar Galvante to evaluate the performance of personnel on work ethics and to conduct inventories of employees.

LTO-9 Director Aminola P. Abaton announced Ussec. Galvante’s directive to LTO9 employees during the 2nd Quarter Transportation District Officers conference Monday morning at the Sta. Barbara office.

Abaton explained to District Officers that Galvante wants all employees of  LTO  to maintain the delivery of  quality time management and efficient services to clients, especially the frontline services.

Galvante wants also every LTO regional office to ban fixers and start to decongest the pila-pila system of applicants of licenses and put up their new plan or system on how to solve the problem.

Abaton  said that all LTO empoyees must attend the Monday flag-raising ceremony and flag retreat every Friday. LTO central office will put up anytime a bundy clock with face and thumb attendance  confirmation.

According to Abaton, Ussec. Galvante, a retired Philippine National Police General, even though he is  75 years old, is very strong leader, charismatic, humble, fatherly, down to earth,  alert and approachable. He wants every employee to do the same as a public servant. — Allen Abastillas
