Two more drug suspects were shot dead by police in separate buy-bust operations Tuesday night and at dawn Wednesday.

The incidents occurred at Gallo Compound, Purok 8, Recodo around 9:35 p.m. and at Arena Blanco Wednesday dawn.

Police said that men of the Ayala Police Station led by Sr. Insp. Karib Muharram conducted a buy-bust operation targeting Eduardo Alima alias Mayor, a known drug pusher in the area. However during the operation, Alima sensed the presence of the lawmen and grabbed his .45 caliber pistol. He squeezed the trigger aiming at the police operatives.

But police said that Alima’s gun jammed. Alima reportedly continued squeezing the triggerprompting the lawmen to shoot him.

After the incident, policemen recovered a .45 caliber pistol, several sachets of shabu and paraphernalia.

Police said that Alima’s companions who were having a shabu session scampered in different directions during the operation.

In Arena Blanco, Ando Abdurahman y Kasam was about to be arrested by men of the Tetuan Police Station at dawn Wednesday but resisted by firing at the lawmen who retaliated firing back killing him. Confiscated from his possession were two sachets of shabu and marked money.

Two of his companions were invited at the police station after they were seen in the house during the operation.
