CDM ZamPen holds reg’l assembly, elects officers PDF Print E-mail

The Centrist Democratic Movement - Zamboanga Peninsula (CDM-ZamPen) successfully spearheaded its 1st Regional Assembly last July 24 in Zamboanga City. Joining the event were the representatives and members of the established CDM districts in Zamboanga Peninsula.

The assembly highlighted the inclusion of the region in the nationwide democratic movement. As an established regional entity, CDM-ZamPen gains a voice and vote in both local and national issues concerning the overall direction and stand of the CDM in the country.

The regional officers of the region were elected the representatives of the different CDM-ZamPen districts. The following are the elected regional officers: Jerico Jan Bustamante (Zamboanga City - District 2), Chairperson; Ronnie Natividad (Zamboanga City - District 1), 1st Deputy Chairperson; Atty. Rommel Agan (Zamboanga City - District 2), 2nd Deputy Chairperson; Joel Zanoria (Basilan), Secretary General; Mohamad Ali Ramber (Pagadian), Deputy Secretary General; Joseph Van Bue (Zamboanga City, District 1), Treasurer, and; Allan Pisingan (Basilan), Deputy Treasurer.

“CDM-ZamPen is moving forward. Following this milestone, we will be work even harder to usher in a democracy that respects the dignity of every Filipino,” said Bustamante.

CDM-ZamPen heads all CDM-related efforts in the Zamboanga Peninsula. CDM-ZamPen is inviting young professionals in the region to join nationwide effort to uphold the principles of democratic participation and the dignity of every Filipino.
