Noel M. Noche, head of the Land Transportation Office-Zamboanga City District unit has warned owners of motorvehicles not to engage the service of fixers who used fake receipts to mislead and victimize clients of his office.

Noche said he recently received a motorvehicle registration which being attempted to renew by a fixer.
When he checked the documents throroughly, Noche found out the motorvehicle registration certificate was fake. Thereafter, he withheld the documents for further investigation.

Noche likewise told motorvehicle owners that his office will not accept registration which has still a manual certificate of registration and registered in other LTO extension offices in the region.

Noche revealed that his office is now fully automated and will not accept manual certificate registration from any extension or agency dealing with LTO for the registration of motorveghicles. — Allen Abastillas
