PRO-9 Public Safety Battalion on outreach mission in Sta. Cruz Isle Print

The Police Regional Office-9 Regional Public Safety Battalion is set to conduct today a dental-medical outreach program in big  Sta. Cruz island.

The outreach program is in relation to the Police Community Relation (PCR) Month celebration. It is the project of Sr. Supt. Bayani Jose L. Gucela being supported by Supt. Abita Mates, chief of the medical team  of the  Regional Health Service 9, Zamboanga City Health Office, Zamboanga City Social Welfare and Development, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources 9, and the Dept. of Education-9.

Supt. Mates said her office will conduct Operation Tuli, dental and medical examination to the target beneficiaries with the Zamboanga City Health Office headed by Dr. Rodelyn Agbulos.

On the part of BFAR 9, it will lead the planting of mangrove propagules and the installation of rain water collector in the area.

DepED 9 will distribute books and notebooks to the school in the island. The ZCSWD will teach and lecture people in the area on  livelihood program. — Allen Abastillas
