Seven more persons involved in drugs were nabbed in separate operations recently.

Men of the Central Police Station led by SPO1 Leo San Juan in coordination with Police Station 7 conducted a buy-bust operation at Mango Drive, Tumaga that resulted in the arrest of Bong Wahab y Alonto, 31, married, of Chimang Drive, Tugbungan and Roel Cabardo y Tagano, 43, of Mango Drive, Tumaga.

Police recovered from Wahab’s possession one small sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu (buy bust item), three folded tissue paper, three small sachets containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu (possession), marked money with serial nos. ZP622227 and P006850 respectively, one blue lighter, four empty open small transparent sachets and one black coin purse

Police also recovered one small sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu from the possession of Cabardo.

The same team conducted another buy-bust operation at Purok 4B, Sta. Catalina that resulted in the arrest of Erlinda Galvinez y Patada alias Inday, 49, and her companions identified as Charlie Ogdamina y Nobleza, 28, Yasser Suruli y Cabliha, 19 and Clarita Nonong y Lipa, 46, all of the same place. They were arrested at the house of Galvinez.

Confiscated from their possession were two heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu (buy bust item), P200 marked money with serial nos. XD75937 and CC051468, five used rolled tissue paper, two cut straws, three disposable lighters, one used strip of aluminum foil, two pairs of scissors, two folded aluminum foil strips and five aluminum foil improvised tooters.

Operatives of the Ayala Police Station led by Chief Insp. Karib Muharram arrested Reehana Pula y Hadjail alias Reean Pula, 18, married of Purok 3A, Recodo and confiscated from her possession four medium size sachets of shabu with estimated weight of 16 grams with market value of P48,000. Also from her possession were P500 marked money and several drug paraphernalia.

Arrested suspects were detained at the respective police stations while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination. – Dan Toribio
